ATS Work lights are not only virtually indestructible, but they will also reduce your electric bill significantly.
Here's a Typical Energy Cost Savings :
*Based on lights being on ½ time at 8 cents per kilowatt-hour net cost (many industrial plants were charged 2 to 3 times this amount when demand exceeded supply in CA). ** Based on 1,000 hr life for 100 Watt rough service bulbs & 20,000 hrs for B6700 lamps & 10 min. labor/bulb & $15/hr labor & $2.00 per rough service bulb & $12.00 per fluorescent lamp. Note: The above cost comparison does not include any savings from reduced down-time. (down-time to other laborers while waiting for a light bulb to be replaced, fixture repaired, fixture installed etc.)
The first comparison above uses one B6700 to get about the same amount of light as a string of 5 100 Watt bulbs (youll actually get 40% more light out of the B6700 if youre currently using rough service 100 Watt Bulbs). The up front costs for a decent string of 5 regular bulbs is about the same as a high quality B6700, but, youll save about $233 per year for each B6700 you buy. Over five years youd save $1,375 - $210 = $1,165 compared to the string of 5 bulbs. The other option above shows (2) B6700s as a replacement for one string of 5 lights. This option would cost about twice as much up front, but you would get almost 3 times as much light, and yearly operational costs would still go down by about $210 per year. Over 5 years, operating costs for (2) B6700s would be about $955 less than just one string of 5 bulbs. If electrical costs go up over 5 years, youre savings will go up too of course. PS The above cost comparisons also leave out the direct labor savings due to easier installation and reduced repair costs (The B6700 is extremely durable, watertight, impact resistant etc.) Want to compare the efficiency of other light sources?Click "More Light Efficiency" below |
